Stills Are Still Important
Interior, exterior, and Aerial
Whether in a printed brochure, PowerPoint presentation, or in an online gallery, quality stills are very much essential.
All of our standard property stills are HDR (High Dynamic Range).
HDR (High Dynamic Range) works to create photos with more color and detail in both the highlight (bright) and shadow (dark) areas. Dynamic range refers to the difference between the lightest and darkest tones in a photo. The human eye can see a much greater dynamic range than any camera.
To get High Dynamic Range, for each still we take 5 shots (exposures).
The 1st is taken to get the best image of the highlights (outside views looking though windows from inside for example). In this shot, the outside view looks great but everything inside is too dark.
The next three images have the exposure settings changed progressively going from leaning towards favoring the highlights to favoring the shadows, with the middle image being what a standard exposure would be (just trying to get the best average with highlights too bright and shadows too dark loosing image details in those areas).
The last is taken to get the best shadow areas. In this one, the shadows look great and have plenty of detail but everything else is too bright.
The exposures are then combined into one getting the highest dynamic range (details) from highlights to shadows.

Interactive Aerial Tours
We start by shooting a 360-degree pano (panorama) 200 feet directly above the the property where we add interactive POI (Point of Interest) hot spots such as schools, parks, shopping, attractions… (up to 10). This gives the buyer a great feel for the area with additional information right in the landing page.
We then shoot 6 more 360 panos around the property and add them to the Aerial Tour.
